BETA International and PetQuip team up for trade fair first

beta image

BETA International is set to welcome an increase in pet product exhibitors and retailers after teaming up with PetQuip to offer its members association rates for next year’s trade fair at the NEC, Birmingham, from 20 to 22 February. The initiative sees the two organisations working together for the first time and counts as a high point in BETA International’s drive to develop its range of exhibitors in this sector.

“Although beneficial rates have been available in the past to other sectors and BETA members continue to receive preferential rates, we have never worked together with an organisation from the pet industry,” said Claire Thomas, commercial manager of EMC, the organiser of BETA International, the world’s leading trade fair for the equestrian, pet care products and country clothing markets. “We are extremely pleased to offer PetQuip members the opportunity to exhibit as part of our ongoing commitment to provide a strong and successful trade fair for both BETA International exhibitors and visitors. The show provides a powerful international platform here in the UK from which companies in the pet care sector can develop their trade at home and abroad.”

PetQuip director-general Amanda Sizer Barrett added: “There is a tremendous synergy between the equestrian and pet care sectors and, while BETA International has always recognised this is the case, we are delighted it is now looking to expand the representation of the pet care industry at the show.

“The new PetQuip trade association price scheme offers considerable savings to those of our members wishing to add BETA International to their marketing plans and is a welcome addition to the wide range of benefits afforded by membership of the association.”

In addition to special rates, PetQuip members will benefit from a free entry in the show catalogue, a listing and link on the new BETA International website, and a presence in its international advertisement campaign.

PetQuip members wishing to book stand space should contact James Palmer at BETA International (quoting their membership number) by email at sales@beta-int.com or telephone 01937 582 111.

BETA International is a wholly owned subsidiary of the British Equestrian Trade Association. For more about the show, see www.beta-int.com
