Format
of the day
The event begins at 9.00am with
meet-the-buyer sessions each lasting about 25
minutes. They will continue through the day,
with the last one being at around 4.30pm. Each
meeting will give you an opportunity to present
your company and products to the buyer on a
one-to-one basis and to supply brochures and
other information. Attendees can also take the
opportunity to visit the federation’s
research library, meet with the Gardenex and
PetQuip teams and find out about our programme
of initiatives for next year.

Nostrem Pet, Estonia
Nostrem Pet was founded
in 1992. Its main activities are veterinary
services and the wholesaling and retailing of
pet care products. Nostrem Pet owns a veterinary
clinic in Tallinn and five pet shops.
Nostrem Pet imports high quality goods for dogs,
cats, birds, hamsters and fish. Cat and dog
food is brought in from Spain and Italy; hamster
and bird food from Spain; fish food from Czech
Republic; toys, feeding bowls and accessories
from Holland.
Nostrem Pet is interested in all pet care products
except food for dogs and cats. More about Nostrem

Badis, Poland
Founded in 1989, Badis is today
one of the largest wholesalers of pet care products
in Poland. The company has a 500 square metre
warehouse and office in Warsaw and a 2,000 square
metre warehouse in Radzymin, 20km outside Warsaw,
which it uses to service its larger customers.
Badis supplies pet retailers, sub-wholesalers
and the Metro cash & carry/hypermarket chain,
all over Poland.
Badis acts as exclusive distributor
in Poland for Arcadia (the British producer
of specialist aquarium and other pet lighting),
Animonda (a German supplier of pet food), Eheim
(a German aquatic specialist) and Hikari (a
Japanese supplier of fish food). It imports
on a non-exclusive basis from a number of other
pet suppliers such as the German Mergus, JBL
and Tropica, and also distributes the products
of many Polish producers of pet supplies. In
total, it handles a range of 5,000+ pet products.

Dubai Garden Centre
Dubai Garden Centre began
trading in January 2003 as the first western
style garden centre in the United Arab Emirates.
A subsidiary of the Desert Group, Dubai Garden
Centre provides a one-stop-shop for a wide range
of garden products, plants and accessories.
Situated near Interchange 4 on Sheikh Zayed
Road, the centre sets out to cater to the broad
mix of cultures and nationalities that makes
up Dubai.
Everything is done to make shopping at Dubai
Garden Centre easy and convenient. The friendly
and knowledgeable staff greet their customers
with smile, there’s ample free parking
and the store is open seven days a week from
9.00am - 9.00pm.
Spread over 5,600 square metres, Dubai Garden
Centre is the largest garden and plant shop
in the UAE and inspires landscaping practitioners
and gardening enthusiasts alike with its wide
range of plants, furniture, garden tools and
accessories sourced from around the world. It
is now expanding into pet care and is actively
seeking bird feeders and accessories for cats

The venue

Situated on the A25, approximately
a mile and a half to the west of Junction
5 of the M25, The White House is easy
to find by car and there is a car park
behind the building. If that is full,
the nearby White Hart public house has
a large free car park which also serves
as a car park for Brasted village.
There’s a frequent
rail service between London Charing Cross
and Sevenoaks, which is about a four mile
taxi ride from Brasted. The journey time
from Charing Cross to Sevenoaks is approximately
40 minutes.

How
to apply
The cost per meeting is
£59 + VAT for members of PetQuip
and £159 + VAT for non-members.
Please list in order of preference the
buyers you would like to meet.
Please note that while
requests for individual meet- the-buyer
places will be handled on a first-come,
first-served basis, the meetings will
also be allocated according to the product
preferences of the buyers involved. PetQuip
makes every effort to ensure that at least
one meeting is allocated per request,
but, because of the complexities of this
process, no guarantees can be made.
