The White House, High Street, Brasted

Thursday 23 February 2012 |
Our meet-the-buyer days provide a great opportunity for you to hold one-to-one meetings with overseas buyers looking for new products from the UK. They are also a hugely cost-effective way of getting your goods and services in front of an international audience.
We have a trade buyer from a Swedish importer and wholesaler for you to meet on this occasion. To request a meeting with him, please complete and return the linked application form by Friday 10 February. We will be in touch soon afterwards to let you know the meeting time that’s been allocated to you.
Format
of the day
The event begins at 9.00am with each meet-the-buyer session lasting about 25 minutes. The sessions will continue right through the day, with the last one being at around 4.30pm. Your meeting will give you a chance to present your company and products to the buyer on a one-to-one basis, in private. Attendees can also take the opportunity to visit our research library, meet with the PetQuip team and find out about our programme of initiatives for the year ahead. |
The overseas buyer
Petcare AB is an importer and wholesaler of pet care products. The company has its headquarters and central warehouse in Torsvik, near Jönköping in Sweden and an office in Tistrup in Jutland, Denmark. Petcare was founded in 1994 and today employs 32 people. It supplies independent pet retailers throughout Sweden and Denmark.
Petcare handles food primarily but also handles accessories and care items, mainly for dogs and cats. The buyer is seeking to extend his range and is particularly interested to meet producers of dog and cat biscuits. You can find more about Petcare at
www.petcare.se
The venue
Locate The White House on Google Maps |
Situated on the A25, approximately a mile and a half to the west of Junction 5 of the M25, The White House is easy to find by car and there is a car park behind the building. If that is full, the nearby White Hart public house has a large free car park which also serves as a car park for Brasted village.
There’s a frequent rail service between London Charing Cross and Sevenoaks, which is about a four mile taxi ride from Brasted. The journey time from Charing Cross to Sevenoaks is about 40 minutes.

How
to apply
The cost per meeting is £69+VAT for members of PetQuip and £169+VAT for non-members.
Please note that while requests for individual meet-the-buyer places will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis, the meetings will also be allocated according to the product preferences of the buyer in question. PetQuip makes every effort to ensure that all requests for a meeting are met, but, because of the complexities of this process, no guarantees can be made.
